Three years in the past, a bunch of TikTokers joined NBCUniversal’s new initiative geared toward remodeling social media influencers into the following technology of TV present creators.
Now, 4 of those creators are set to launch their unique sequence on Peacock.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reveals set to premiere are “The Warehouse Phase,” developed by Charlie Curtis-Beard; “The Kouncil,” created by Katie Florence; “Older Hotter Wiser” from Serena Kerrigan; and “People Like Me” from Daren Vongirdner.
All reveals debut on May 19.
It’s fascinating how social media has opened up alternatives for a lot of younger, rising creators in Hollywood, particularly as TikTok is more and more dubbed the “new TV.” One of the latest TikTok stars to land a tv function is Boman Martinez-Reid, identified for his hilarious impersonations of the Kardashians.
