    Zoom restores service after an hours-long outage


    Zoom says its platform is again on-line after struggling an outage for a lot of Wednesday afternoon.

Users on social media reported having hassle logging in, and getting an “Unable to Connect” error message when coming into conferences. Zoom’s website additionally went down — as did its inbox for media inquiries.

    More than 59,000 customers had reported points on outage-tracking website DownDetector.com by midday.

    It’s not but clear what the trigger was. The Verge speculates that it’d’ve been DNS-related, pointing to a Reddit thread. When reached for remark, a Zoom spokesperson referred TechCrunch to the above X put up.
