Apple is planning to deliver reside translation to AirPods, in response to a report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The function, which is able to let customers translate conversations in actual time, will likely be “tied” to the forthcoming iOS 19, Gurman says.
As famous by Gurman, the function may also help translate a dialog from, for instance, Spanish to English by taking part in a translated model of the speech into the English-speaker’s AirPods. When the English speaker responds, their iPhone will then play the Spanish translation from its audio system. Apple didn’t instantly reply to The Verge’s request for remark.
