Tata Electronics has acquired a controlling stake of 60% in Pegatron’s unit in India, lower than a 12 months after buying Wistron’s native enterprise because the salt-to-software conglomerate expands its iPhone manufacturing capability within the South Asian market.
Pegatron is a key meeting accomplice for Apple. The Taiwanese agency operates an iPhone manufacturing plant close to Chennai in India’s sourther state of Tamil Nadu.
