The cyberattack hitting Transport for London (TfL), the federal government physique that runs the U.Okay. capital’s transit system, is now dragging into its second week. Although the transit system stays operational and unaffected by the cyber incident, some TfL on-line and digital buyer providers stay offline.
In a short replace on its cyber incident web page, TfL stated it continues to take care of an “ongoing” incident. The replace eliminated a line that beforehand stated, “there isn’t any proof that any buyer knowledge has been compromised,” and changed with, “the safety of our methods and buyer knowledge is essential to us.”
TechCrunch requested TfL on Friday if the group has the technical means, equivalent to logs, to find out what, if any, buyer or worker knowledge was exfiltrated from its methods. A spokesperson declined to reply on the time, and had no fast remark concerning the replace when contacted by TechCrunch on Tuesday.
