The University of Texas at Austin this week introduced that it has opened its undergraduate robotics program to highschool candidates. The honors program is without doubt one of the first within the U.S. that enables incoming freshmen to use for this system as a part of their preliminary admission software. It’s a transparent indication that robotics is not within the realm of hyper specialised graduate and doctorate applications.
The minor is tied to a handful of different majors, together with aerospace engineering, electrical and laptop engineering, computational engineering, laptop science and mechanical engineering. Each types a foundational piece of an eventual robotics main. With the rise of robotics in highschool STEAM educating, this system is designed to keep up incoming freshmen’s curiosity within the rising house.
